Good morning THS, today is Wednesday, April 18, 2018. 


Today in the Cafeteria we have:  Chicken Sandwiches, Fiesta Pasta, Chicken Caesar Salad, Green Beans, Crispy Oven Fries, and Mandarin Orange Slices.


In the Sports Light


Prom tickets are now $35 each.  If you are purchasing a ticket for a guest that does not attend THS, you need to get a permission form from the Main Office. Get your tickets from Mrs. Lenaburg in Room 104. 


Want to go to the Prom but you need a dress? The Prom Project can help you out if you are a Junior or a Senior. The counselors have a form you can fill out and take to Mrs. Peak in the Library. She will help you get the contact information needed to get a dress for the big day.  Also, see Mrs. Peak if you would like to take advantage of the FREE hair, makeup, and nail services being provided on Prom day.


Native American Students:  the American Indian Chamber of Commerce Oklahoma Scholarship is now available in the Counselors’ Office.


Seniors who are planning to attend a trade school in the fall need to see Ms. Poole about a scholarship.


If you are in the Foster Care System there is a $3,000 scholarship in the Counseling Office.


Students who are in the Seminole State Zoom Classes need to see Ms. Poole ASAP.


Seniors: if your parent works for Tecumseh Public Schools in any capacity, please let Ms. Poole know.  This is for a scholarship.


The Tecumseh Today Scholarship is available to all Seniors.  Applications are in the Counseling Office.  The Deadline is Monday.


The Vision Source Scholarship is now available in the Counseling Office.


The accepted Gordon Cooper list is on the window in the Counseling Office.  Congratulations to those who were accepted!


If you have not brought pictures for the Senior Slideshow you need to bring 1 Kindergarten and 1 Senior picture to Mrs. Lenaburg ASAP!


Jostens will be here TOMORROW to deliver any announcements that have not already been delivered.  If you owe money, be sure to bring it that day.


Students who were given an application for NHS, please turn the applications in to Mrs. Sampson before tomorrow.


Juniors will be taking the Science test Today and Tomorrow.  Today in the Morning are students with the last name beginning with A through Madison Day and in the afternoon Deardorff through McKay.  Tomorrow morning will be McKechnie through Raymond Thomas and in the afternoon Travis Thompson through York.


Attention all freshmen, sophomores and juniors--This is election season and petitions will be available soon to run for 2018-19 student council.  If you would be interested in trying out for class officer or class representative you can pick up a petition to run for office in room 307 or room 305 beginning April 25.


The AP Portfolio review required for enrollment into the AP Studio Art class is Friday.  If you have taken Art I and would like to enroll in the AP Studio Art class, you must have your portfolio juried on Friday.  If you have questions or need an information packet – see Mrs. Cox or Mr. Carey.


Looking Ahead


Slowpitch will host Mustang and Choctaw tomorrow, Boys and Girls Tennis will compete in the Conference Tournament at Harrah and Baseball will host Bristow.


Youth Alive will meet tomorrow during Lunch in the Library. $1 will get you lunch and a drink.  Everyone is welcome.


Lunch Talk will meet today during Lunch in Room 207.  Please see Ms. Poole before 11:00 if you plan to attend.


Science Club will take a field trip on Friday.


Track will travel to Bethany on Friday, Slowpitch will head to Westmoore, Girls Tennis will travel and Baseball will travel to Cushing.


There will be an Art Show in the Alumni Building on Friday evening.


Baseball will take on the OKC Bronchos Saturday at home and Boys Tennis will travel to Shawnee.
